General Information
Services provided by Wavefront Physiotherapy and Coaching are delivered virtually with the exception of home visits for follow ups only in and around Exeter area at the discretion of the staff, there is no obligation for this.
All services are for adults aged 18 or over only. We do not provide services to paediatric populations including children or young people under the age of 18.
Remote Physiotherapy has inherent limitations compared to in person care. Certain physical examinations and manual treatments cannot be performed virtually.
We cannot provide ANY emergency or urgent medical care. If you experience severe or concerning symptoms, call 999.
Exclusions
We will not accept clients presenting with:
Red Flag Symptoms: If you have any of the following symptoms, you must seek urgent medical attention, and we will not provide either physiotherapy or coaching services.
Unexplained weight loss
Unremitting night pain or severe night pain
Night sweats
Fever
History of cancer
Recent significant trauma
Unexplained neurological symptoms e.g. new weakness, numbness, pins and needles, changes to bladder and bowel function, saddle anaesthesia.
Signs of infection such as redness, swelling, heat, fever or feeling generally unwell.
Severe unexplained pain.
Neurological Indications: We cannot treat clients with conditions suggestive or serious or progressive neurological involvement, including:
Sudden onset or weakness or paralysis.
Loss of bladder or bowel control.
Numbness, pins and needles of nerve pain in the saddle region.
Suspected spinal cord compression or cauda equina compression.
If any of these apply, you will be directed to seek immediate assessment by a GP, emergency department, or appropriate specialist.
Client Responsibility
It is your responsibility (the client) to provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, symptoms and health status.
By engaging with our services, you confirm that you do not present with any of the named red flag symptoms or neurological symptoms.
You agree that you are fit to participate in exercise and understand that exercise carried the risk of injury.
No Guarantee of Results
Outcomes from physiotherapy or coach vary between individuals. We make no guarantees regarding specific results, improvements or recovery timelines.
Medical Advice Disclaimer
Information provided in consultations, exercise programmes, or coaching sessions is for guidance only and should not replace medical advice from your GP, consultant, or emergency services/care providers.
If your condition changes or your develop any concerning symptoms such as the ones discussed, you must stop exercising and seek immediate medical attention.

Introduction
Welcome to Wavefront Physiotherapy and Coaching. We provide virtual Physiotherapy consultations and online coaching services, with the exception of some in person follow up in and around the Exeter area. By booking a consultation, purchasing a program or guide, or otherwise engaging with our services, you (the client) agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Scope of Services
Physiotherapy
Consultations are delivered online via a video call using Rehab guru. To participate in this, you will be sent an email, which you will provide when booking the consultation. The initial consultation will last 45 Minutes.
Physiotherapy initial consultations will include a subjective assessment where we will discuss the history of your presenting condition and symptoms. In addition, to a guided objective assessment, this will be self-performed by you (the client) with the guidance of a HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
Exercise programming and rehabilitation plans are delivered via the Rehab Guru app.
Follow up consultations may be booked in to monitor progress and adjust programming, this discussion will be initiated in your first consultation, as it the decision of both you (the client) and the physiotherapist.
Limitations: Remote physiotherapy does not allow for all physical tests and techniques to be carried out, that would be available in person. This may limit the scope of assessment and treatment. If you would like an in person follow up, these can be provided around Exeter, Woodbury and Exmouth.
Coaching
Coaching services additionally include and initial consultation, lasting 45 minutes. You (the client) will then have a discussion with our coach to highlight which coaching avenue you wish to take. This can be either, a one-off personalised program. Or, and ongoing coaching service.
Our ongoing coaching services include a program and, weekly check ins booked in with our coach to change and adjust programming as required. This may be based upon lifestyle factors such as fatigue, progress, injury.
Coaches have one week to deliver your initial program, if this needs to be extended for any reason, documentation in the initial assessment will reflect this.
Note: Coaching is not medical care and should not be replaced from a qualified healthcare provider.
Client Responsibility
You have a responsibility to provide accurate and complete information about your health, medical history and symptoms. As a private service, we have zero access to your medical records, therefore it is your responsibility to be truthful. Any withhold of relevant information which then impacts your care, is not at liability to Wavefront Wellness Physiotherapy and Coaching, or the individual practitioners providing the service.
Your MUST complete the pre consultation screening questionnaire. You shall not be able to book a consultation without this.
If any “red flag” symptoms present, such as but not limited to; unexplained weight loss, neurological symptoms, night pain, infections fevers or similar signs, we will not provide physiotherapy services and will recommend you seek the appropriate medical attention.
You are responsible for following any medical advice given by your GP, specialist or other healthcare provider.
Consent
By booking and attending a session, you confirm that:
You understand the limitations or remote physiotherapy and coaching services.
You have disclosed all relevant health information truthfully.
You accept that exercise carries risks, including possible injury, and agree to participate at your own risk.
You will stop exercises and seek medical attention if you experience severe pain, dizziness, chest pain or any additional concerning symptoms.
Liability
We provide services to the best of our professional ability and within our scope of practise.
We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results.
We are not liable for: Injuries caused by misuse or incorrect performance of prescribed exercises. Additionally, issues resulting from clients failing to seek medical care when advised. Injuries or complications arising from undisclosed medical history. Nothing in these terms, excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Payments and Refunds
Payments must be made in full prior to the consultation or delivery of any program.
Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
Refunds are issued at the company’s discretion and are not available once a consultation or program has been delivered.
Sessions and programmes are non-transferable.
Intellectual property
All exercise programs, guides, PDFs, videos and written materials provided by us remain our intellectual property.
These resources are for your personal use only and must not be shared, copied, distributed, or sold without or written consent.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Records will be retained in line with professional and legal requirements.
Information will only be disclosed if legally required, this may include safeguarding concerns, risk to harm yourself or others.
Coaching Disclaimer
Coaching is for performance, fitness and wellbeing purposes.
It is not suitable for medical diagnosis, treatment or Physiotherapy.
You are medically responsible for ensuring that you are medically fit to participate.
You will be required to fill out a PAR-Q prior to coaching services.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us directly at charlie.daveywavefront@gmail.com. We aim to resolve complains promptly and professionally.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may arise concerns through the relevant insurance company or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), if in relation to Physiotherapy services.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
